I am a poet, gardener, and teacher of writing and environmental education. I have led writing workshops for homeschoolers for the past fifteen years and have taught children how to garden for the past four summers. In 2022, I founded a land restoration organization called Journeywork that helps people replace lawns with native plants.
My education includes a B.A. in comparative literature from Brown, a master’s in elementary education from Penn, and a master’s in environmental education from Arcadia.
I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and now make my home outside of Philadelphia.
